I'm very upset and pissed off with this kind of scenerio: six adults (a couple, parents of that couple) circle around, and succumb to serve a little 'empress' !
Don't they know they are depriving the kid chances of learning how to take care of herself? YES, they are caring, may be very knowledgeable too, BUT for sure they are people of little wisdom!
